BANFF — A dangerous offender hearing for a man who terrorized two women in the Alberta resort community of Banff has been delayed.

Cory Bitternose pleaded guilty in March 2009 to sexual assault and kidnapping charges.

The hearing has been rescheduled for Monday in Calgary after the Crown prosecutor suffered some health problems.

Bitternose admitted he kidnapped the women after they accepted a ride home with him, then repeatedly sexually assaulted one of them. He has a long history of convictions involving violent attacks.
