OTTAWA — Daniel Alfredsson is back in for the Ottawa Senators.
The captain pronounced himself fit to play Game 6 against the New York Rangers after taking the morning skate at Scotiabank Place.
Alfredsson missed the last three games with a concussion after being elbowed by New York’s Carl Hagelin in Game 2.
The 39-year-old returns as the Senators look to finish off the series against New York.
Prospect Jakob Silfverberg also took the skate with the Sens one day after joining the team from Sweden.
