More copies of Red Deer: The Memorable City by Michael Dawe will be available starting on Wednesday.

The popularity of the centennial book prompted the third printing.

The 360-page written and visual history of the city was released on Dec. 9, 2013.

More than 1,500 copies have been sold since it was released.

Books will be available for $35 plus tax at the Red Deer Public Library, Recreation Centre, G.H. Dawe Community Centre, Collicutt Centre, City Hall, Tourism Red Deer and the Kerry Wood Nature Centre.

The City of Red Deer commissioned production of the book in celebration of Red Deer’s centennial. The book takes a unique look at the community’s 100-year history and features information on the city’s landscape, geography and culture.
