Red Deer RCMP Const. Peter Baxter plays with four-month-old RCMP dog Fratt during their visit to the Petland Store in Red Deer Tuesday afternoon. Fratt is in the socialization phase of his training says Baxter. “Its Important to make sure they are neutral to people and other animals, this (Petland) is a great environment for that‚“ said Baxter. Petland kicked off National Service Dog Month with the visit from the RCMP. Staff and customers got the chance to get up close to the new recruit and experience his playful personality.
