Volunteer Dianna O’Callaghan helps Les Vasseur, centre, and Guy Barnabe of the Central Alberta Woodworkers Guild pack up donated handmade wooden toys at the Red Deer Christmas Bureau Monday. The guild’s 40 members also donated toys and doll cradles to the Lacombe Christmas Bureau. Barnabe said next year, the guild will determine what the bureau’s needs are early in the year so carpenters can make to order. The guild, which meets every third Thursday at the Canadian University College shop at Lacombe, welcomes prospective members and they can contact him at (403) 343-6039 or gbarnabe@shaw.ca for more information.
