Downtown Red Deer 7-Eleven held up

RCMP are looking for two suspects who held up the 7-Eleven downtown last Friday.

The armed robbery of the downtown 7-Eleven in Red Deer has police looking for two men.

Last Friday evening, police said two men entered the business located at 4702 50th St. with their faces covered. One of the suspects brandished a knife and threatened staff.

The two suspects then fled east down the alley across from the store with several packages of cigarettes.

No staff were injured during the robbery.

Police describe the suspects as Caucasian males, they wore black hoodies with the hoods up. One wore a black bandana covering his face, while the other wore a red bandana. Both suspects were about 1.82 metres (six feet) tall.
