Durand gigs celebrate spring

Red Deer singer/songwriter Donna Durand is performing a few gigs in celebration of spring.

Red Deer singer/songwriter Donna Durand is performing a few gigs in celebration of spring.

She invites anyone who wants to hear some toe-tapping and reflective music to The Hub, at 4936 Ross St., from 1:30 to 3 p.m. on Friday.

Durand will also perform from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Saturday at the Tom Lindl Guitar and Entertainment shop on the main street of Innisfail.

Both concerts are free and Durand’s CDs will be for sale.

On April 29, Durand will also bring her guitar to the 2 to 4 p.m. Gramma Link, Celebrating Women in the Arts Concert, Art Show and Auction at Red Deer’s Sunnybrook United Church.

Tickets to the Grandmothers to Grandmothers campaign, Stephen Lewis Foundation event are $15 at the door, or in advance from Comforts of the Sole or Chris Hume at 403-347-2776.
