Edmonton Police arrest 8 in organized crime cocaine trafficking bust

Edmonton Police have arrested eight men on drug trafficking charges.

EDMONTON — Edmonton Police have arrested eight men on drug trafficking charges.

During the bust police say they seized three kilograms of cocaine and a loaded handgun.

Insp. Greg Preston says the men are suspected of being part of a high level organized crime gang.

Arrested are Tony Tran, 27, Peter Tran, 26, Kim Leaung Yoeun, 25, Phu Phan, 25, Phoeung Nhem, 26, Sohka Tim, 26, and Vannhan Ros, 26.

They all face committing an offence for a criminal organization and drug charges.

Graham Brennan, 26, is charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a loaded restricted firearm.
