The Red Deer Elks managed one of a possible four points in midget AA hockey league play during the weekend.
The Elks tied Bow Valley 3-3 and lost 6-4 to the Badlands.
Derrick Morrell had two goals and James Gaume one against Bow Valley with Brady Jewan making 29 saves.
Jaye Sutherland scored twice against the Badlands with singles added by Morrell and Gaume. Jewan made 21 saves.
