Tonight, a pair of English instructors from Red Deer College will share their experience in writing, editing and finding a publisher for their new textbook, Essay Writing for Canadian Students.
The book is used throughout Canada for first-year courses in English and writing, as well as for courses beyond first year that have intensive writing requirements.
Roger Davis and Laura Davis will share their experience in the process of writing their book, working with editors and with the publishing industry.
Homework: The Creation of Textbooks will be presented in the North Nook of the Red Deer College Library, starting at 7:30 p.m.
