A fatal incident at Deermart Equipment Sales Ltd. in Red Deer has occupational health and safety investigating whether it was a workplace related death due to it occurring after regular business hours.
Dan Zacharias, 60, was killed on June 11 between 6 and 8 p.m. He was servicing the underside of a truck when it fell on him.
Because the incident took place after hours, investigators are working to determine if the man was working at the time of the incident.
The investigation is ongoing.
