Fencing club wins two bronze at nationals

The Red Deer Fencing Club picked up a pair of bronze medals at the Canadian National Championships while also making a pair of quarter-finals and two top 16s.

SASKATOON, Sask. — The Red Deer Fencing Club picked up a pair of bronze medals at the Canadian National Championships while also making a pair of quarter-finals and two top 16s.

Zac Zanussi won bronze in the U17 men’s epee while Devyn Hurry was third in the U15 men’s epee and 16th in the U17 epee.

Karis Langvand placed sixth in the women’s epee with Nathaniel Johnson seventh in the U20 men’s epee.

Greer McIvor took 14th in the U17 women’s epee.
