RCMP say an elderly couple reported that three males wearing uniforms and posing as police officers knocked on their door on April 1, 2009.

When the couple let them in, two of the men pulled out weapons and started searching for cash. However, nothing was stolen and the elderly couple were not hurt.

On Sunday, Christopher Gilbert Boily, 27, turned himself in to police in Peace River, Alta.

He’s been charged with robbery using a firearm and forcible confinement and will appear in court on Monday.

Another accused, Gilbert Leo Setz, 55, of Peace River, is also scheduled to appear in court on Monday while Scott Douglas Nixon, 46, of no fixed address, has already pleaded guilty to robbery and forcible confinement.

He was sentenced last week to nine years in prison.
