CALGARY — Fire has forced nearly 300 people out of a Calgary homeless shelter.
The fire started in a laundry room early this morning at the Mustard Seed.
Officials say clothing in a dryer caught fire.
Although the flames were quickly extinguished, the evacuees boarded Calgary transit buses and were taken to another facility.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
