The death of a Devon teenager in the Rocky Mountain House area on Saturday has been termed non-suspicious by the Calgary Medical Examiner’s Office.

Sgt. Chris Matechuk of Rocky RCMP said Tuesday said the autopsy on the body of Steven Larson, 18, found no foul play.

Larson had travelled from Devon to the Rocky area for recreational activities.

He slept most of the trip because he was tired after attending a safe grad exercise on May 15.

He was reported to be in good health but when the family arrived at their destination they couldn’t wake him, police said.

Family members and emergency medical services personnel administered CPR but the teen couldn’t be revived.

The medical examiner will conduct further forensic tests to determine the exact cause of death, police said.
