Franco-Albertan singer/songwriter and actor Mireille Moquin will be featured as part of a live radio show recorded Friday at Red Deer College.

Everybody is invited to be part of the RDC Studio A audience. Host Grant Stovel of CKUA radio network will interview Moquin and listen to her perform during the 8 to 9 p.m. live-on-location show.

The fifth-generation Franco-Albertan from Edmonton was nominated for a Western Canadian Music Award for her 2008 album Hybride. Moquin, who has acted with several francophone theatre companies across the country, last released the solo CD Aurevoir Princesse in 2011.

Her live recording is part of TransCanada’s Alberta Backstage Series.

While listeners can also tune into Stovel’s CKUA show at 107.7 FM, those who attend the recording can enter an onsite contest.
