Freehold Owners Association will hold its annual general meeting with guest speakers at CrossRoads Church on April 28 from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The general meeting will run from 10 to 11:30 a.m. with seminars from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Mike Dawson, president of the Canadian Society for Unconventional Resources, will speak on unconventional resource development in Alberta and its economic impact on freehold mineral owners.
Morgan Allen, association administrator, will introduce the association’s updated website, new features and interactive map.
David Speirs, technical committee chair, will speak about the Energy Resources Conservation Board and more. Admission is $20 per person or couple for members and $30 for non-members per person or couple (cash or cheque only). Lunch is $10 per person.
Registration runs from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Memberships are available at the door.
CrossRoads Church is at 38105 on Range Road 275, west of 32nd Street and Hwy 2 in Red Deer County.
