EDMONTON — Two boys found dead inside an Edmonton townhouse last week have been laid to rest.
The boys, aged three and six, were remembered at a memorial service at the Kehewin Cree Nation, east of the Alberta capital.
Their father, 31-year-old Jason Bruce Cardinal, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder.
Police were alerted to the north-end townhouse on Dec. 19 when they received a call from the Child and Family Services crisis unit.
Information on how the boys died has not been released.
Cardinal is to appear in court on Jan. 5th.
