A six-year-old girl is dead after an off-road vehicle rollover near Altario on Tuesday.
Around 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Consort RCMP and local emergency services personnel responded to the rollover approximately 50 km east of Consort near the Saskatchewan border. There, they found a four-wheel ATV that had been carrying three occupants rolled over.
The six-year-old was a passenger in the side-by-side ATV. The other two occupants were treated and released.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
Altario is south of Provost near the Saskatchewan/Alberta border.
