CALGARY - Spencer Dorowicz netted a pair of power-play goals in a losing cause as the Olds Grizzlys fell 4-2 to the Calgary Canucks in an AJHL game played before 227 fans Monday at the Max Bell Centre.

The Canucks, who led 2-1 after one period and 3-2 after 40 minutes, got man-advantage goals from Jordan Eddy and Ryan MacPhee, an even-strength tally from Joel Paiement and an empty-net marker from Derek Thorogood with two seconds remaining.

Michael Matyas stood tall in the Calgary net with 29 saves. Jesse Ehnisz stopped 15 shots for Olds.

The Grizzlys close out the 2011 portion of their schedule Wednesday against the host Drayton Valley Thunder.
