CALGARY — As many as a dozen registered guns may be in the hands of criminals after what police are calling a targeted home invasion in Calgary.
Police say two males threatened a man with a gun after he answered a ring at the door of his southeast home late Tuesday morning.
The intruders demanded the homeowner’s firearms and tied him up after he showed them where the guns were kept.
The robbers got away in dark grey, newer model Chevy pickup driven by a third person.
The victim was not hurt and was able to free himself.
Investigators say the homeowner does not know the suspects.
