RCMP Inspector Joe McGeough, Lethbridge Operations Officer, and Gerry Selk, Chief of Southern Alberta Operations for The Canadian Border Services Agency announced Thursday in Lethbridge that Border Services Officers at Coutts, Alberta have seized firearms from a male who failed to declare them when entering Canada. The weapons have been identified as seven restricted semi-automatic handguns, one semi-automatic shotgun and three prohibited fully-automatic rifles as well as trigger mechanisms for converting rifles to fully-automatic and ammunition for the firearms.
