The Harvest Fair and Penny Carnival is on tap at the Stephansson House Provincial Historic Site on Sunday.
The carnival features old-fashioned games for all ages, fresh baked goods from Helga Stephansson’s wood-burning stove, historical craft demonstrations and much more.
The fun gets underway at noon and runs until 5 p.m.
Admission is $3 for adults, $8 for families (two adults and children aged seven to 17), $2 for seniors, $2 for youth (seven to 17) and children under six get in for free.
Stephansson House is located seven km north of Markerville, off Secondary Hwy 781 and Hwy 592 (20 minutes south of Sylvan Lake, or 30 minutes southwest of Red Deer).
