Trent Hermary scored the eventual winner as the Blackfalds Wranglers edged the visiting Banff Academy Bears 5-4 in a Heritage Junior B Hockey League contest Sunday.
Jared Williams, Brady Thudium, Taylor Mulder and Jared Guilbault also tallied for the Wranglers, while Thomas Isaman stopped 25 shots for the win. Banff goaltender Mykhailo Rudenko made 27 saves.
Blackfalds, which hosts the Airdrie Thunder tonight at 7:30 p.m., was assessed four of six minor penalties.
Elsewhere tonight, the Red Deer Vipers are in Stettler to face the Lightning at 8:15 p.m.
