Hunting Hills hosts basketball tourney this weekend

Twenty-four teams — 12 on each side — will compete in the annual Hunting Hills middle school basketball tournament, beginning Friday.Both divisions will be divided into two pools.

Both divisions will be divided into two pools.

Central, David Thompson, St. Francis I, Glendale, West Park and Westglen are in Pool A on the girls’ side with Gateway Christian, Eastview, St. Thomas, St Francis II, Wilson Middle School and St. Matts in Pool B.

On the boys’ side, Central, West Park, St. Francis, Glendale, Wilson and Westglen are in Pool A with Gateway Christian, JC Charyk, St., Thomas, Alexandra, Eastview and St. Matts in Pool B.

Teams that finish fifth and sixth in each pool in both divisions meet at 5 p.m. with the teams finishing third and fourth clashing at 6 p.m. The two first place finishers and the second-place teams meet at 7 p.m.
