The Hunting Hills Lightning downed the Central Alberta Christian High School Knights 20-25, 25-15, 25-9, 28-26 in Central Alberta High School Senior Girls’ Volleyball League play Tuesday.
Malisha Stuve was player of the match for the Lightning.
l The Lacombe Rams stopped the Lindsay Thurber Raiders 25-23, 15-25, 15-25, 25-23, 15-10 in other senior girls’ play.
Keltie Dewalt was player of the match for Lacombe and Cara Vanderlis for LTCHS.
l The Notre Dame Cougars won both ends of a twin bill against Stettler in girls’ action.
The senior Cougars won 25-19, 25-14, 25-10 with Megan Schmidt the player of the match.
The JV Cougars took a 25-19, 25-8, 26-24 decision with Nicole Dube the player of the match.
