A Border paving crew lays down new asphalt as westbound traffic over the Hwy 11A and 2 overpass begins to make its way through a maze of lane markers Monday. The work is part of the $23.7-million upgrade that will see the cloverleaf design revamped to a diamond one making it easier for large trucks to negotiate. Work is expected to be complete later this fall.
