Inmate who escaped while going to doctor’s appointment admits to car-jacking

An inmate serving time for a vicious sex assault has admitted he tried to car-jack a woman’s vehicle when he escaped custody late last year.

CALGARY — An inmate serving time for a vicious sex assault has admitted he tried to car-jack a woman’s vehicle when he escaped custody late last year.

Michael Nadolnick was being escorted to a doctor’s appointment when he got away from officers in Calgary in November.

His lawyer entered a guilty plea on Nadolnick’s behalf.

The convicted sex offender is set to be back in court on Feb. 1, because lawyers are applying to have him declared a dangerous offender.

The woman he assaulted three years ago was taken from her job at gunpoint.
