People who attend the sessions will be guided through a series of questions that will help the province gather feedback on Albertans’ priorities for the next year’s budgets.

Finance Minister Doug Horner and Associate Minister of Fiance Kyle Fawcett will attend the open houses.

The two-hour information gathering opportunity takes place from 3 to 5 p.m. at Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites (37471 Hwy 2 South in Gasoline Alley).

The open house is one of nine open houses across the province between Oct. 4 and 13.

Those who are unable to attend the open houses can complete an online survey that will ask the same questions discussed in the open houses.

A new smartphone application will be available for download on Friday that will give Albertans the inside scoop of the government’s decision-making process and the budget process.

The budget survey, application and other information is available at www.dollarsandsense.alberta.ca Surveys close on Oct. 31.
