Calgary Bishop Grandin won gold with a 43-39 victory over Spruce Grove and Airdrie Bert Church defeated Edmonton Archbishop Macdonald 58-38 in the bronze-medal game.

The host Cougars finished sixth in the eight-team tournament, with the Hunting Hills Lightning placing eighth.

Earlier in the day, Notre Dame slipped past Airdrie George McDougall 44-43 as Paige Watson scored 16 points and Cassidy Clark added six.

Meanwhile, Hunting Hills got 12 points from Jaden Robinson and eight from Teagen Booth in a 37-36 loss to George McDougall, and also dropped a 59-37 decision to Lindsay Thurber.
