CALGARY — The Calgary Stampeders have locked up one of their top receivers to a new contract. Ken-Yon Rambo signed an extension with the CFL club on Thursday. “Calgary is the only place I want to be and I’m glad we were able to get this done,” Rambo said in a release. “The Stamps are a great organization to play for, we’ve got a great group here and I’m looking forward to getting back out on the field in a few months. “We didn’t finish where we wanted to the past two seasons and I think everyone is looking forward to working hard to get back to that big game.” Calgary won the Grey Cup in 2008 but hasn’t been back to the CFL championship game since. The Stamps lost to Saskatchewan in the West Division final last year. Rambo missed the first four games last year while he recovered from knee surgery. He finished the season with 72 receptions for 1,172 yards and eight touchdowns. Rambo is ninth in franchise history with 355 receptions and 5,300 receiving yards. He is tied for 10th all-time with 34 touchdowns.
