Red Deer product Caitlin Kidd, a member of the Canadian Australian Rules Football women’s team, was selected as an all-star and named to the World Team in the International Cup played in Melbourne and Sydney, Australia.
The Canadian squad fell to Ireland in the championship final of the event which featured teams from Ireland, the United States, Italy, Australia and Papua New Guinea.
The Canadian men’s team, which featured Red Deer’s Matt Kidd, finished 10th.
