Red Deer city council is wrestling with a hot potato.
Some folks seem to be concerned about a little yellow flower — the dandelion.
I keep wondering who decided that yellow was ugly?
Common sense and science 101 tell us that we need clean water, clean air and clean soil to survive.
However, some feel that we must get rid of this small yellow flower. The chemicals that we use to destroy it pollutes all three, the air, the water and the soil.
This is a very sad commentary on our sense of values in this world of ours.
