MEDICINE HAT — The RDC Kings and Queens soccer teams both kicked off the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference seasons with 2-2 ties Saturday against the Medicine Hat Tigers.
The Queens rallied from a 2-0 deficit in the second half with goals from Stephanie Tremblay and Rachel Gaudry. Meanwhile keeper Lauren Good was solid between the pipes.
The Kings meanwhile blew a 2-1 second half lead and had to settle for their tie despite a missed opportunity late.
Geng Thain and Patrick Sweiger did the damage for the Kings.
RDC is in Lethbridge this afternoon to wrap up their opening weekend.
