Kneehill County group honoured

The Kneehill County Recruitment and Retention Taskforce was recently recognized for its unique and balanced approach to attracting and retaining physicians in its communities.

The Kneehill County Recruitment and Retention Taskforce was recently recognized for its unique and balanced approach to attracting and retaining physicians in its communities.

The committee was awarded the 2011 Alberta Rural Community Attraction and Retention Award co-sponsored by the Alberta Chambers of Commerce and the Alberta Rural Physician Action Plan.

The Kneehill task force engages physicians and the community, meets regularly and works together to welcome new physicians, and assists and appreciates those who continue to practice in the county.

The 2011 award presentation was part of the Alberta Chamber’s 2011 Fall Board Meeting.

Alberta Rural Physician Action Plan is a not-for-profit organization funded by Alberta Health and Wellness.
