Red Deer’s Zina Kocher was the top Canadian in a Biathlon World Cup event at Oestersund, Sweden during the weekend.
Kocher was 15th in Saturday’s but dropped nine spots in Sunday’s pursuit to finish 24th overall.
She posted a time of 37:57.1 in the 10-kilometre pursuit.
“Shooting was difficult this week,” said Kocher.
“My skis feel great and my body just wants to go.”
The two-time Olympian missed six shots in four rounds of shooting when a snow storm made conditions challenging on Sunday.
Norway’s Tora Berger won the gold at 33:56.9.
