Kuehn tied for 36th at Canadian Senior Championship

Lynn Kuehn of Lacombe led the Central Alberta contingent at the Royale Cup Canadian Senior Women’s Golf Championship during the opening round Tuesday of the 54-hole event. Kuehn shot an 81 to sit in a tie for 36th in the field of 106. Cheryl Van Dornick of Camrose came in with an 83 and is tied for 53rd while Sharon Peart of Red Deer is tied for 85th after a 90.

VERNON, B.C. — Lynn Kuehn of Lacombe led the Central Alberta contingent at the Royale Cup Canadian Senior Women’s Golf Championship during the opening round Tuesday of the 54-hole event.

Kuehn shot an 81 to sit in a tie for 36th in the field of 106. Cheryl Van Dornick of Camrose came in with an 83 and is tied for 53rd while Sharon Peart of Red Deer is tied for 85th after a 90.

Holly Horwood of Vancouver had an even-par 71 and holds a two-stroke lead over three others.
