Lacombe area artists will benefit in a big way following an arts gala on Saturday.
About $10,000 was raised from the event towards the Lacombe Arts Endowment Fund.
The Palette Pleasers hosted the event for the last time and as part of it, they auctioned off two gourmet suppers for eight for a total of $4,000.
The endowment fund pays for an annual $1,200 scholarship each year to support the artistic development of Lacombe area individual artists so they can do specific training or development.
