Lacombe finished the first half of their North Star Sports Ladies Basketball League schedule with a 9-0 record after beating the Spare Change 57-24 Monday.
Jill Hornby had 19 points and Lindsay Morrison 12 for Lacombe while Adriana De Alva had 14 in a losing cause.
• The Collin Barrow Storm ran their record to 8-1 with a 32-30 win over The Bank as Shannon Van Parys had seven points. Krista McElroy had 10 for The Bank.
• The Spartans got 23 points from Cassie Stewart and 13 from Carla Stewart in edging the All-Stars 49-47.
Crista Oke had 14 points and Heather Oke 11 for the All-Stars.
• Michelle Vick and Karalee Kaiser had nine points each as the Big Ballers downed the Shooting Stars 42-31.
Jill Labonte had 12 points and Chandra Visser 11 for the Stars.
• The Funk beat Triple Treat 56-42 in the other game.
