Red Deer Mayor Morris Flewwelling takes a pass from Wyatt Grainger, seven, during a media night at the Collicutt Centre this week. This weekend, 54 teams from across the province will converge on the city for the 19th annual Tradition Lives lacrosse tournament. The tournament kicks off on Saturday at the Kin City Arenas with opening ceremonies at 11:30 a.m. Aboriginal dancers and drummers entertain as the teams begin the tournament, which runs through Monday.
