Under the direction of Jennifer Mann, the Lindsay Thurber Symphonic Band performs on the main stage of the Red Deer College Arts Centre on the last day of competition at the Alberta Band Association Festival of Bands on Friday. Many bands, ranging in age and experience from elementary school age to senior community bands, have taken part in the festival which began on May 11 and finished May 22. Along with competitions, the bands participating also had the opportunity to take part in sight-reading clinics and fundamentals clinics.
