A luncheon in support of a cupboard full of needed medical supplies is set to take place in May. The fifth annual ladies luncheon in support of the Lending Cupboard Society is scheduled for May 22. Starting at 11:30 a.m. at the Black Knight Inn, at 2929 50th Ave. in Red Deer, people are invited to have a lunch with their friends while learning about the Lending Cupboard. The society provides Central Albertans with new or used medical equipment for as long as they need it at no cost. Tickets cost $25 and can be purchased by calling the Black Knight Inn Ticket Centre at 403-755-6626 or 1-800-661-8792, or by visiting www.bkticketcentre.ca.
