Crimson Lake Provincial Park, 20 km northwest of Rocky Mountain House, offers snowshoeing, snow golfing, winter shelter building, winter geocaching, and snow sculpture carving and painting.

After the activities in the cold, people can warm up with s’mores, hotdogs and hot chocolate around a campfire.

These activities run at the park on Feb. 18, Family Day, from noon to 3 p.m.
