EDMONTON — More than a dozen charges have been laid against an Edmonton man who is accused of using two massage parlours as fronts for a prostitution ring.
Dennis Fitzpatrick Huggins is facing a total of 13 charges, including living off the avails of prostitution and proceeds of crime.
Police allege the 58-year-old man was a central figure in a prostitution ring.
Huggins was arrested after an eight-month investigation that was sparked by complaints from area residents about suspicious activity near the massage parlours.
Six women were removed from the businesses and returned to the Toronto area during the investigation.
