EDMONTON — Several charges have been laid against an Edmonton man accused of soliciting sex from girls, including one as young as nine.
Police say they launched an investigation when a woman alleged that a man had offered money to have sex with her nine-year-old daughter.
A suspect was arrested and charged Oct. 8, then released on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
But more charges were laid on Tuesday after some teenage girls alleged they had been offered money and gifts in exchange for sex.
Francesco Pagliuso, 47, is facing a number of prostitution-related charges, along with one count of criminal harassment.
He will appear in court Nov. 17.
