EDMONTON — An Edmonton man is accused of producing and detonating home-made explosives in a school yard earlier this month.
Police say Joshua Sealy, who is 33, faces several explosives-related charges.
Officers responded to complaint calls on June 2 regarding explosions in a field at Ecole Frere Antoine Elementary School on the city’s south side.
Two days later, they arrested Sealy who was walking down a road and carrying a backpack with chemicals that could be used to make explosives.
His first court appearance is set for Thursday.
