WESTLOCK — Police say the 25-year-old driver of a pickup truck died after his vehicle was struck by a semi near Westlock, Saturday night.
RCMP says it appears the driver of the pickup failed to stop at a stop sign on a rural road and entered the highway, where his vehicle was struck by a semi.
Emergency crews pronounced the unidentified 25-year-old man dead at the scene.
The 48-year-old semi driver, from Olds was not injured.
Police say no charges are anticipated.
