Red Deer Emergency Services prepare to leave the scene of an industrial accident at Predator Drilling Inc. in the Clearview Industrial Park south of Red Deer on Thursday.
Tracey Kipta, spokesperson with Occupational Health and Safety, said a male worker was making his way up a derrick when his leg became pinned. He was transferred to the Red Deer Regional Hospital with undetermined leg injuries.
The accident occurred in the company yard, which is not an active drilling site, she said.
