LETHBRIDGE — A southern Alberta man has pleaded guilty in a fatal beating done with a two-by-four.

Terry Bissonnette, who is 52, entered a manslaughter plea in Lethbridge provincial court.

Christopher Ballendine, who was 47, died last month after being found in a city home.

Court heard Bissonnette and another man went to Ballendine’s house to scare him after they learned he had beaten his wife.

Court was told Bissonnette did not strike any blows, but did agree with the other man to confront Ballendine.

Bissonnette is to be sentenced Jan.12th.
