Man pleads guilty to trafficking charges

A Red Deer man charged during an undercover investigation into cocaine trafficking late last year in Red Deer pleaded guilty to two counts of drug trafficking on Thursday.

A Red Deer man charged during an undercover investigation into cocaine trafficking late last year in Red Deer pleaded guilty to two counts of drug trafficking on Thursday.

Michael Anthony Turnbull, 19, pleaded guilty to trafficking a controlled substance. Charges were laid on Dec. 1 and 2.

Red Deer City RCMP were involved in an investigation targeting street-level drug traffickers from Nov. 28 to Dec. 4.

Sentencing was adjourned until May 10 for a pre-sentence report.
